Canterbury Museum is easily accessible by visitors with disabilities. There is a lift and ramps throughout the building and every effort is made to ensure visitors are comfortable.

Parking |

Metered street parking is available close to the main entrance for visitors with disabilities, at $1.50 per hour. There is additional parking available in the Rolleston Avenue Pay and Display car park directly across from the Museum as well as on adjacent streets.

Wheelchairs are available for use free-of-charge within the Museum. Please ask at the Information Desk in the Museum Foyer if you require a wheelchair.

Toilets with wheelchair access are located on Level 3 (Visitor Lounge) and Level 4 (Museum Café).
